Highlights: Ben was returned to us and we were hoping to add him to our breeding stock but he did not pass OFA hips, elbows, or PennHip for breeding, he will be fine in a pet home. We will be looking for a retirement home for him. 

Testing:  PRA, Cystinuria, CMR1 negative by parentage and DNA. Coat length clear, he does not carry the long haired gene, he is however a carrier of DM. Other coat testing was done as part of the Mastiff package, he has 1 fawn gene, 1 sable or apricot gene and brindle and he is clear for everything else, curl, shedding etc. 

OFA Cardiac clear, OFA Thyroid Normal, PennHip R DI 0.49, L DI 0.48 which is average for the Mastiff, mild OA right hip (the acetabulum is more shallow but no evidence of OA), OFA hips mild hip dysplasia due to subluxation and remodeling of the femoral head/neck, OFA Elbows Grade 1 Dysplasia bilateral with Degenerative joint disease.
