Summer circuit Kars, lombardy, Limestone July 13 - 23, 2023

Chewy

Took Best of Breed multiple times and Best of Opposite a few times as well as several Selects to get his Grand Championship and multiple points over that. Thanks to Dave Swift, Rebecca Dickson and Lenka Uhlova for their presentation of Chewy to the judges. Thanks to all the judges that recognized Chewy in the ring.

Faith

Took Best of breed and Best of Opposite several times beating Champions and Grand Champions to our surprise. Faith is beautiful and a beautiful mover.

Dash

Dash took 3 Best of Winners in the 5 shows he competed in on the weekends getting 6 points, 3 majors. He beat Faith 3 times but she also took Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex beating him twice. Dash was great in the ring, most of the time, he still has some puppy left in him as he is not quite 18 months old. Dash needs 3 more points for his Championship.

Julia

Julia did not get a single point in these shows. She did get better and better at showing again.

Faith obtained her Championship at the Limestone Show

July 22nd 2023. She was shown for the summer circuit of 11 days and had 3 best of Breeds beating Champions and Grand Champions.

Thanks to all the judges for recognizing Faith in the ring. Thanks to Dave Swift for handling Faith and training and working with Faith. I also handled her once and she was Best of Breed beating Chewy. Well done, Faith the judges say she is a beautiful mover.

Grand Champion Knighterrant's Maximus Under the Radar "Max"

Max obtained his Grand Championship at the Scarborough Show the weekend of March 12th, 2023, less than one year after obtaining his Championship.

Thanks to all the judges for recognizing Max in the ring and to Rebecca Dickson for handling Max. Biggest thanks to Francois his co-owner for all the training and work he did with Max in preparation for showing and the shows that he handled Max in.

Chewy

Took Select Dog in the UK Limited Breed Show so now only needs 8 points for his Grand Championship

Julia

Took Winners Bitch in one show and then Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Winners under a Mastiff Judge, Carlos Flaquer. She now has 6 points towards her championship.

Dash

Took Best Puppy in one show and Winners Male/Best Puppy in another show to take his 1st point towards his championship.

Max

Took Best of breed July 16th, and then a Group 4th win. Way to go Max. He earned 4 points towards his Grand Championship. Thank you to Rebecca for handling Max and to judge Peter Martin.

Ch. NorthernPaws Chewbacca of Knighterrant "Chewy", official Championship photo. Thank you to Judge Whitley for putting Chewy up as Best of Winners today at the Petawawa show, and giving him the points required to finish his championship. Thank you Lenka for your faith in Cyrus as a stud dog. Chewy is a very nice boy and we look forward to using Chewy in our breeding program, all of his testing is done, we just need to be able to have a successful breeding.

The best way to have fun showing and ensure competition is to invite all of your mastiff friends.

We have a great time with the new Presedent of the Canadian Mastiff Club, Jane Mitchell, and Vice President, Connie Hachey on Saturday. We each brought food to share, kept our distance and had it serrved with gloves by our chili chef Dave.

Over the course off the weekend Brew and Hubert got their Grand Championships, Claudie 7 points towards her Grand Championship,. Groot, Georgia, and Keeper their Championships, Chewy and Poppa switched back and forth winning their class.

Groot finished in just 2 weekends out. Chewy got a 3 point major for Best of Winners and Groot a 3 point major for Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex, as well as another Best of Winners.

Thank you all for the fun weekend and sharing of points.

Kars and ontario breeders shows July 2021

Chewy (Sasha x Cyrus son) got 9 Best of Breeds and 3 Best of Opposites in 12 shows with a Group 4th in his final show. He has at least 4 points towards his championship in his first shows.
